What is is: the M-01 LH is the left-handed standard Altamira gypsy jazz model, a great option as a first gypsy jazz guitar, or as a secondary instrument.

In 2017 I purchased an M-01M from djangoguitars. There are upgrades shown in the lefty guitar pictured. It was very reasonably priced. It's gorgeous. My only addition was a clear plastic pickguard. I cannot say enough nice things about Tommy's dedication to customer service. Altamira's construction is a lot of bang for your guitar-buying buck. A major reason it sounds so good is the setup that Tommy gives before he delivers it. He's a guitar savant. I've taken my guitar to two Django In Junes & handed it to many incredible players to put the guitar through its paces. The tone compares very favorably with much more expensive, vintage & handmade luthier guitars. Its tone is superbly balanced top to bottom for both rhythm & soloing. It raises eyebrows whenever great players use it in a jam. It produces great volume plus has wonderful tone for playing softly as well. Tommy will give you honest answers upon which you can fully rely in your decision making. You've come to the right place.
